Hi! So my bf was stationed in Great Lakes for boot camp and graduated 2/12...now he's in A School and the problem is I'm not sure where! I assumed Chicago still, but I called his dad today and his dad says he's in Washington state.  Somehow in the great land of internet resource I am seriously missing out on how to look up where a soldier is stationed based on division....he's ship 12 division 084, if that makes a difference at all.  Any idea how to find out WHERE he is? I'd love to book a ticket to A school's graduation but cheyah I'd need a location.  haha.

MusicMom,
I have a couple of questions.. is your son still in BC? Because if he is then he is on there schdule and may not be able to contact you. There is very little contact unless your son writes you or if the gain the right for a phone call home. His cell phone will not be of any use.

If he has went to A school do you know were? Because there are Navy wifes called ombudsman that we can email and have them check into having your son contact you. There is also the CMC or Command Master Cheif you can email them as well.

A final resort is the RED CROSS they will send his Commanding Officer a email saying that this salior had not contacted is family in however months and they wish to have him contact them. This is always used as a final way of contact them because it is not favorable for the salior to have to meet his chain of command under not so nice terms.
I am too late for this topic or at least by now I would hope that you have found your boyfriend. But you can always call the recuriter if your a parent to find out your loved ones location. They have the ability to look it up through their sites. So if anyone later reads this, now you know how to find out. If all else fails call your childs recruiter.
Justins mom--I did in fact find him, and just got back from visiting him :) It was great :D And thanks for the tip,I'm sure it'll help out people in similar predicaments. I hope musicmom located her son as well.
I am glad you found him. So where is he stationed now? My son is in Groton, Ct. He has posted some pics and it looks really pretty there. Can't wait to get time off to go see him again. BC visiting just was not long enough. They did though allow us to meet him at the airport and go to the gate with him until he got on the plane. Those few extra hours with him made our trip to Ill worth the time and money. Also for anyone going to BC or getting ready to leave for A school......Your child/GF/BF can have their cells once they leave Great Lakes. So make sure you take their cells with you to graduation. Good luck to everyone.
