vicki, join the group, DEP-Leavin for bootcamp in March, to connect with others with loved ones who left the same day and may have PIR together.
You may want to join, or at least check out, Boot Camp Moms (and loved ones), PIR Reference Information, and New Members Stop Here. Once you know your SR’s PIR date and/or division number, watch in Boot Camp Moms (and loved ones) and/or at http://www.navyformoms.com/forum/topics/groups-listed-by-pir-date and join the group for that once it has been created. There will be a lot of great information and support for you in those groups. Be sure to check out the Pages (found under the pictures of the Members) and Discussions within the groups. Arrival and What Happens at the RTC within Boot Camp Moms (and loved ones) will let you know what is happening, but you will also want to check out the other Pages in all of the groups.
Although you have received an address from the recruiter, we strongly urge you to wait untl you receive the form letter before sending any letters. Your recruit will not receive any letters for about 2-3 weeks. See Letter Writing & Fun Stuff/Questionnaires to send to your Recruit for more on that.

You are very welcome.
Hi Vicki :)
I'd love to stay in touch!! Were you able to talk some yest? My daughter texted throughout the day, then called about 8pm for 'last' call :( Now that was tough, she was crying. Been so tough the last few days, she said she was fine, just scared!
My daughters name is Leigha.
My son left yesterday also, very hard emotional day. I received my call at 11pm
hope today is better for you. I didn't do much around the house Mon or Tues, moped lol that's about it. so today, cleaning etc :)
hello Jackie and Colette i guess we are on the same page i talked to my son Monday till last call at 11:00 when he got to boot camp and he said he was fine but very short call. i work so when i am there it is OK when i get home that is hard! i think the thing that got me was i know he was going to boot camp then school in Texas but Sunday when i said good bye i realized he would never live at home again he was gone for more time and he would live on his own after all is said and done that was sad for me! i hope your days are getting better they will be fine and grow up a lot but they are our babies lol
thats my bigggest problem right now, he is never coming home.(to live) Everytime I go in his room its just devastating to me. I have 5 children and he is my oldest, I need his room for one of the others but I cant seem deal with all his stuff! I say to myself 100x a day, My baby is gone.. I need to get a grip hahaha
