So I received her first phone call on Saturday... so glad to here her voice. She sounded a little shell shocked but otherwise, it was lovely to hear from her. Then today I received the box with her cloths. Not letter, no additional info, just a box with her jacket, and pants. NOTHING else......
My son in the same division and ship. We still haven't received the box.....I did get a form type letter with Grad date.
For May 21st. with a hand written comment see you then....
Wow, glad to meet you. I have not received the letter yet..... seems everyone is a little different. My daughter said that the grad date would be the 21st (her 20th birthday). So I was glad to hear that you heard the same date. Please keep me posted as to when you receive your box and first letter from your son. He will be in my thoughts now too.

I received her Official Letter with the PIR date and her personal comments. So wonderful to see her writting. She of course asked for each of us to look after each other and said that she "was having fun!" It has always been her way of watching out for everyone else. She is such a positive force, that we knew that her decision for the Navy was right for her. I just hope that I will get to hear her voice or receive her letters soon.

To all the other Navy Moms~ stay strong and write often.
Go Navy

I am in Arizona, where are you from? I have not yet received a personal letter from her.....seems to be taking a while. I know that they are busy.....
As far as PIR we are staying at the Navy Lodge.....Not sure what the accomodations will be like, but I guess we will see. Have you decided where you will be staying? We will be flying in on the 20th and leaving on the 23rd. I hope that Danielle will be able to spend some time with us ether before or after PIR. I was hoping to hear from Danielle yesterday, but I think that she will try to wait until next Saturday as it is my birthday. Anyway, I can't wait to hear what they will be doing next. When I talk to Danielle I will ask if she has met Trevor.... Take care, and I will talk with you soon.
