Welcome to Your Division!  I hope you will be able to attend the Meet and Greet.  Just to make it fun I hope you will take a little time and design a simple flag to represent your division at the Meet and Greet that will be used to designate your divisional table.  While we will all meet together as a PIR group it will help you find each other as a division as well!  Show your creativity!!

Ladies I dont know about you but I am going insane. It has been 15 days since I heard my husbands voice and 9 days since a letter. I am truly going crazy. I know it is hard right now for them because training and everything is getting more intense. But the last letter I got was we can now write On SUN- TUES- THURS. So my little heart was set on getting letters 3xs a week. Well um excuse me but I havent got nothing in over a week. Ok I am done.
It is hard when you don't hear isn't it...you just go right ahead and vent. He might just be really tired. Yesterday I got a letter from my son and he was so down I was sick...then today I got a letter and he said...oh by the way I'm better. I too will be glad when this roller coaster ride is done. They can lose those writing priveleges for any reason...so just keep hanging in there...it is not too long until PIR. You have come a long way baby...(you are probably too young to remember that phrase...lol) you will make it to the end now...hang in there!! Oh and don't feel too bad the last three letters I have gotten have said I miss my life, my friends, my bed, and my dog....hmmmm who is missing in this list...lol!! Its a good thing I know he loves me!!
It would be nice to get more than one letter a week, but beggars can't be choosers. I thought it would get easier with time, but some days it seems to be harder. I hope he gets that run down, he had it down within seconds just before heading to bc.
Got a letter today, sounds like he's having ups and downs. Said they had hell week last week, but he thought it was fun because it flew by. He didn't pass the PFA again, but run time got better. They will be having a drill inspection on Thursday, so I guess today. Said they were going to be marching from Sunday til Thurs. Got another IT on Sat. Next week they will be firing real guns and can get ribbons if they do well. They did okay on marlin spike, but ran out of time. Only four safety violations, as he said not the best, but not the worst.
Is there a mom here with a son with the initials J.B.?? He left out of Houston, mom lives in OK now... are you here?? :) :) If so, please send me a private message, as I do not come here that often :) Thanks and congrats to all of your kids!! It's an amazing thing to watch them at PIR!!! :) :)
Hi. My son is in Div. 356. I received a letter from him yesterday telling me that 355 is his brother company and that he is good friends with lots of people in this division. My sons initials are RR and he says his BC nickname isVW. Let me know if your son/daughter is friends with my boy. He told me if I find his friends' moms he will tell me stories about them...
Hi my daughter is in Div 355. Well you can see my name is Jerrikas mom. Let me know what you find out. She is a mess(most of the time) lol
Did anyone get a phone call today. My son called about 1/2 an hour ago, but for some stupid reason I missed it. I can't believe it.
I got a call. I missed the first try. I was in the middle of taking a exam at school. Then he called again and I was able to answer. He said dont sent letters after 10/26. He got his orders for A school yesterday. He mailed off his formal pictures to me. He said battle stations are next Friday. He couldn't believe at how much time has gone by. They are all doing good. They were able to call because they have been good all week and had to go to the nex to reboot or something like that. I am sorry you missed your call. At least you know you will be getting one next saturday for the Im a Sailor call...
Hi Everyone
I got a letter today and one of the filled out questionnaires that was filled out by my daughter and also three other people in her division. So if any moms want their daughters answers, let me know. The mail is really strange I have been getting a letter almost every day this week and last week. The are dated every day on the letter, I guess she must write before she goes to sleep.
I also got a call yesterday, finally I was able to talk to her. She is great and she loves it.
