She is so ready .. I know she may be nervous too. We are having her party this Friday. yes.. Its going to be so hard, but so good for her.. I am not sure I can handle her being gone for so long.. I want to know everything and what is going on. I worry about her getting hurt I can go on and on, but I am so proud of her to do this alone. My SS has been in the Navy since 2013, but its my baby girl :)
I am happy for her!! Yes, getting hurt or sick and as mom we can't fix it is hard to deal with!! My oldest was in the Navy back in 2005.. and it seemed easier then it does now. You must be very proud of them both :-) My youngest who is there now is 27 and has lived his life here as a civilian, had his own home and a decent job and one day said he wanted to do this and I was like ok lol but him being older doesn't make it any easier. Make sure she gives you details in her letters, lol I told my son that and I get journals so that's nice!
yes I will.. My ?? will be endless.. However if she is sad or not doing well mentally I told her to tell her friends not me haha I would be so hurt, and more worrying to the already worrying.. I have tons of quotes and saying of encouragement I am going to send her with her letters and I am putting small ones in her wallet
