For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security
Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.
DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

**UPDATE 4/26/2022** Effective with the May 6, 2022 PIR 4 guests will be allowed. Still must be fully vaccinated to attend.
**UPDATE as of 11/10/2022 PIR vaccination is no longer required.
**UPDATE 7/29/2021** You now must be fully vaccinated in order to attend PIR:
In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

Well at least now you can write to him. Thats great, The recruiters laugh at us probably to. We called them twice today. This is suppose to be your sons hardest part of the time he is away, the first 3 weeks. Your son isn't lazy, we have just baby them so much. My son is the same way. Your son will do just great. Dont worry about his sleeping habit, he will get straightened out on that. My boy is about the same way. When he wasn't sleeping he was on his computer or on his cell phone. I'm sure they will be fine. Don't worry so much about him getting yelled at, they are all getting yelled at right now...That will get better in a couple more weeks to...Our boys we be ok...You can tell this back to me tomorrow when i don't get my sons address and i'm crying on here..haha

I have to keep making jokes about my son, it keeps my spirits up. My brothers and sister are military, but none of them were Navy. (Go Navy)! I know he will be fine and will become the sailor he wants to be. My husband keeps reminding me that I spoiled him, I did he is my baby, who is now a man. Bobbi Ray you will get an address and the kid box tomorrow. I am thinking postive thoughts.

Hi Bobbi Ray, I was reading other Division's post they are getting together to represent their division for PIR. I would be good if we could do something too. T shirts, ribbons, etc.

Hey Peaches our boys may be in the same divisions..I called the recruiter today and he said my son was in Ship 06 Div. 936. Isn't that where your son is to.

That is awesome... Where are you from. We live in Illinois. Do you know when graduation is yet? I asked my recruiter again today and he told me again it would be on July 23rd....I hope that is right.

Hey Ladies the address the recuiter gave me does not have a phyical address. It gave me the div and ship number. Did you get a physical address?

We are totally different he was born in Los Angeles and we moved to Oklahoma City when he was young. He enjoyed drama, and music. He hated the out doors. In his Sr. year of high school he became interested in the Navy. He has learned how to swin, he ran track and hit the weight room all in his first year college. We sent 5 letters today.

yes from his dad myself 2cousins and a sister. My son is 19. He took swinning lesson when he was a small child, I think what he learned was the batman or something. He enrolled in college because his entry date was 9 months away, He decides to take classes that could help him through boot camp. My son is thin and long, I think he has muscles, Haha
