Choose your Username.  For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either).  Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username.  While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups!  Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself!  Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility. 

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.  

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

**UPDATE 4/26/2022** Effective with the May 6, 2022 PIR 4 guests will be allowed.  Still must be fully vaccinated to attend.

**UPDATE as of 11/10/2022 PIR vaccination is no longer required.

**UPDATE 7/29/2021** You now must be fully vaccinated in order to attend PIR:

In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

Help please!!!!! i have questions about getting married in great lakes! they keep pushing it back! and im pregnant

ok so my fiancee proposed on april 1st 2011 15 days later i found out i was pregnant so we moved up the wedding so i can get tricare..... well here is the issue... he talking to his person in charge and they said he had to take classes and put tho a chit. well he did that in may! its now july!!!! they are giving us a hard time and he keeps getting told that if he gets married with out the chit approved i wont get tricare! so we dont know what to do. im 18 and my family i was with canceled my insurance so now i have none and none will talk me cause im 15 weeks pregnant ive been paying outta pocket to go to the doctor and i cannot keep doing that.... whats the protocol to getting married in GLs on the training base while your in A-School? what do i do???

Dear Eubanks Girl, keeping you in prayers you and your Sailor and your growing Baby wishing that all this gets resolved quickly .Do Trust Anti M and Angie, they are both wonderful ladies who are very helpful. I recently needed help different reasons ofcourse and Angie was able to help Me and Ill always be very thankful to her and to those that she approached to resolve my questions.God will guide you keep the Faith and Im sure everything will soon be resolved.MomNavy25
