Choose your Username. For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security
Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.
DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

**UPDATE 4/26/2022** Effective with the May 6, 2022 PIR 4 guests will be allowed. Still must be fully vaccinated to attend.
**UPDATE as of 11/10/2022 PIR vaccination is no longer required.
**UPDATE 7/29/2021** You now must be fully vaccinated in order to attend PIR:
In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

Please note! Changes to this guide happened in October 2017. Tickets are now issued for all guests, and all guests must have a ticket to enter base. A separate parking pass is no longer needed to drive on to base for parking.

Depending on the size of the training group, 3 or 4. Lemonelephant will be along shortly to give you the links to help you find the PIR group, where how many guests they can put down will be posted.
In the meantime, go to the new members group for more info.

Based on when your SR arrived at the RTC, someone has received the form letter indicating when PIR is and the names of the 3 or 4 people that she will be putting on the Access List (or at this point, may have already turned in). Based on her arrival date of 06/03/2013, PIR is 07/26/2103, 08/02/2013, or 08/09/2013. Those in the 07/26/2013 and 08/02/2013 TG can have 4 guests and those in the 08/09/2013 TG can have 3 guests. There are no tickets, depending on how many she is authorized to list, your SR has put or will be putting 3 or 4 names down to be put on the Access List and those people will be permitted in the Drill Hall for PIR and all others will be asked to return to their vehicle or to leave the RTC. (See http://www.bootcamp.navy.mil/upcoming_grads.asp. That is also where you will go to print the vehicle/gate pass if you are driving onto the RTC.)
Join PIR 07/26/2013 TG 37 - 09 Divisions (271-276, 815, 816 and 937), PIR 08/02/2013 TG 38 - 12 Divisions (277-286, 817 and 938), or PIR 08/09/2013 TG 39 - 13 Divisions (287-298, and 939) depending on when PIR is for your SR to connect with others with loved ones training with your SR.
The Page, PIR Day and Liberty During PIR Weekend, within Boot Camp Moms (and loved ones) will give you more information on how to prepare for PIR weekend. I invite you to join that group while you are there and to check out the other Pages (found under the pictures of the Members) as well.

Just found out my son is division 348, where can I find info on that?? And thanks in advance :)

I think that Division 348 should be in the 09/13/2013 TG. That TG has not been posted at http://www.bootcamp.navy.mil/upcoming_grads.asp, so we don't know how many guests will be permitted yet. I see you have joined PIR 09/13/2013 TG 44; Divisions 347 and 348 are brother divisions and train together and will have Battle Stations-21 together, so look for others with loved ones in either division. There iwill later be a discussion within that group for the two divisions.
Remember, do not send letters until after you receive the form letter. See Letter Writing & Fun Stuff/Questionnaires to send to your Recruit.
