so happy for you and your daughter.... praying for your letter
How adorable. I'll have to watch for the Fed Ex guy tomorrow.
remember new tradition hug the fedex person lol just watch their hands lmao
Hey Ellebee I was wondering about you. So you got his box! Yea!  If you don't get his form letter soon, call his recruiter. My son's just looked it up on the computer. After a week, they have pretty much settled into their division I think. How are your children doing?
Oh ElleBee I am so sorry. You and your husband sound like such wonderful parents. Kids are reslient so hopefully like you said it will be better from now on.  Keeping them busy will help. That is great the his grandfather is going to take him on a trip. He can help alot to be there for him.  The wonderful thing about this is in 7 weeks you will be reunited and then you can be near him in Pensecola.

Well that is good news! Good for your grandmother telling you to go buy an outfit for PIR. Nothing like spending money to make you feel better! :.)  What are you wearing by the way?  That is a question I have for everyone. Also, the division shirts you can get..do you wear them to the meet and greet?  I am totally lost on that one.

As far as my son, I was sick yesterday and stayed out of work. Along about 1:00pm I got another call from his due to them checking his background. We talked quite a bit while I was looking up phone numbers for him.  It was good to hear from him. He said they were swimming today and he did get the first 2 letters I sent which was good news. The one that said Mom you don't have to write everyday was saying oh mom it was so good to get yours and his fiance' letters! He was very sweet. Also laughed about how he learn to make a bed eventually! :.)

One day delay...but he's off!
My husband wont get out of his sons room :)
Im doing my best to hang in there...i know its going to be a long day.
I feel the whirlings of tears trying to come....my daughter totally lost it when we got home...and that broke my heart.
Its just such a mixture of feelings...im sure today they will ebb and flow by the hour.
i agree with ellebee it will get better chin up you are in the short rows now as i call them
i know how he feels lol  i actually slept with my sons over shirt smelled just like him lol but it went in laundry today enuff is enuff congrats to you and your family good luck

I got the box! At first the Fed Ex guy went past my house but slowed down, then he turned around. Yay!

I bookmarked a slideshow a while ago which shows you exactly what they are going through during p-days and boot camp almost forgot about it. It's graphic and concise...Ellebee this might be great for your children, they can actually see pictures of where he is and what all of the rooms look like and where the ships are located. I think it helps kids when they can actually visualize a place in their mind.
