For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

Like you said some just cant cut it. They can still be proud that they gave it their best.
Tell him to hang in there. He can do it. In a couple weeks he will get a kick out of seeing new recruits coming in and realize how far he has come in a short amount of time. We are all pulling for him. Stay busy and watch how much better you both will feel in a couple weeks.You Are Gonna be Proud
OK, I just got the box. I'm afraid to open up the flood though. I might just decorate it and put it under the tree! I know his clothes, shoes, and cell phone are inside. I'm so hoping for a note, or ANYTHING. I'll probably wait til this evening to open it.
thank you all so much! I really dont know what I would do if I didnt have this website! you all offer so much support and encouragement! I got our letter today and he will graduate Feb. 11th. I have already sent him all the letters I have written until today! Hopefully when he gets them he will be encouraged, ( I am trying to be a cheerleader ! ) again thanks so much for all your responses!!

I just got a letter too! His projected grad date is 2/18 and his address is Ship09 Div 077.
