Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

I got the "box" today, but NO form letter with an address or PIR info!!  Not sure what happened, but it was a real disappointment.

 :(

I got the "box" too, but no letter or other info. Hopefully it will come soon.
I just got a reply on another forum and was told that they usually don't come at the same time.  The letter should arrive a few days after the box, so I will be waiting by the mailbox!   I think I will become very good friends with the mailman over the next couple of months!!
Thanks I will be looking for it.
I still not letter with the address or PIR date, have you received anything yet?  Looking at the time that you got your phone call, it sounds like our kids were on the same bus to BC!
I'm still waiting patiently for the kid in the box,  Hopefully tomorrow!
They will all do great and be fine. I think it's harder on us than them.
Ah...the 'box' came yesterday :(   No more civilian attire for a while ...now waiting on the letter
The  box came this am,also no note so I guess I will wait for the letter :(
the letter always comes separately..it has their address, who is on their list for graduation, parking pass information, and their PIR date. Also has a lot of other information to help us through boot camp. Use the brochure enclosed and tell them you are coming to your child's graduation to get the better discount :)
