Hey guys, I changed my username to remove Drew's name from it. Just wanted to let you know that it is me :) Susan
Thanks for letting us kow Susan.
:) I prob should do the same.
Thanks Susan,

I thought it was best to do that too,

Betsy
Betsy, do you think it's Ok to keep their picture as our profile picture? Susan
Susan,

You know, I hadn't thought of that, if they see him on there, they may target him at boot camp too. I'll change it. I might just put a picture of him as a little boy on there. I will have to scan one.
I'm pretty sure if our account settings are private on our page, the other pictures should be protected. I was told just not to put a last name on there. In one of his pictures, you could see his MEPS name tag, and Colleen told me that if I blurred his last name, she would approve it for my page. But, that is private

Thanks.

Betsy
I am taking a break from work to look here and I always have to sign in because of all the great posts. Betsy, you had a great idea. I think it would be so much fun to make all of our pictures of our sons as either really young or babies. Awwww. I am serious. What do you think? Hugs. Kathy
Oh ok. Good idea. I have a picture of Drew when he was 2 dressed in a sailors costume for Halloween. His uncle had gotten it for him while he was in the Navy. It's so cute :) I decided not to post any pictures of Drew from his swearing in because of security. I am so new to all of this. He will eventually have a top secret clearance and I wonder what I will have to do differently. Like can i tag him in any of my pictures in facebook? Do I need to delete all of the pictures of him on there, things like that. Susan
Susan, yes, yes, yes, and yes. Don't show their pictures if they are top clearance. My son will be too. Also we should probably stop writing their name now, just use initial. It is hard to be so proud of ours sons and not be able to show pictures. I see pictures everywhere here but I guess it is ok if no one knows who they are. I guess that is why they shouldn't show on our page. It leads to us. Hugs. Kathy
I guess we will learn as we go :) Susan
I finally put up a picture, and took this advice; my profile pic is my son when he was almost 2. Hard to believe he's now over 6 feet tall ... although he probably now has about the same amount of hair as he does in this picture!
Lol Sharon thats funny! Super cute picture :) Susan
Oh, Sharon, he is so cute. I love it. Hugs. Kathy
