No address as of yet, I am waiting impatiently. The no contact is killing me. I am use to talking to him daily even when he was away at college. I also dont understand why we dont have any contact information yet like the others. Maybe our children are stuck in limbo at this point.

NOTHING!! I will not call them back either. They seem like jerks to me!
I got Heather's box and address today! Yay!  Her ship is so different than all the others I have seen. She is Ship 7116 Div 126. Does that sound right?

That sounds like a weird ship #.  If you go to the RTC page, its not listed either.

http://www.bootcamp.navy.mil/contact_recruit.asp

My hubby is Ship 11, Div 127

I did not think so either. I looked on the list and it is not listed John F. Kennedy. I just hope the 7 letters I just sent out at the Post Office find their way to her. I noticed everyone else is Ship 11. Her recruiter and Chief have not been much help to me at all. I have gotten more information from this site. THANK YOU NavyforMoms.com!

A vacation would be nice right about now. I have never been so anxious in all my life! I just want to hear 3 little words "I am fine" in a believable tone of voice..lol

*I am also guilty of doing too much. This will be good for them :)

Touche - want those words too. I am as anxious as you are! Miss my boy so much!!!!!

I have not heard from my wife since she left.  I am currently deployed to Iraq so kinda slow getting information and I can't receive calls from her :(

on another note..

Corpsman are a very respected MOS.  Males are usually sent into a USMC infantry line unit to become their corpsmen.  They are usually the most respected navy personnel to a Marine because he's out there doing what the Marines are doing and he's the one that's going to be saving their butt's out their in the field.

This can not be easy..God bless you & everything you are doing for our country!!!!

asailorshusband,

That must be extra hard for you.

I have heard that about the Corpsman from my son, but hearing it from someone else in the Navy makes me feel a little better about the respect.

Take Care hopefully you will hear from your wife soon. Do you have any insede connections being in the Navy too?

My husband left on Feb 10th.  I got the "I've arrived" phone call but nothing since.

He went in to be a Corpsman also.

My recruit made it to RTC on 2/8.  I rec'd the box on 2/11.  Still no letter with address.  I hope to meet some of you soon. I pray that all of these young men and women do well and the time away will pass quickly.  God bless all of you.
