For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

That link works to show the body fat. As far as the 30 days, the recruiter has people that s/he can get in with out having to worrying about their weight or any waivers, so they don't want to spend much time on someone who doesn't meet the requirements. They give them a set time, and if they can't get in standards by than, it is up to the want to be Depper to do it themselves. Your husband needs to get in standards, he didn't gain the weight overnight so he isn't going to loose it over night either. He needs to be driven to do it than go back to the recruiter and try again.
Keep in mind when someone not trained to do the measurements does them they will not be 100% correct, so you could tape him at an ok BCA but when he goes to the recruiter he could be over. Best for your husband to shoot for being with in weight standards and not have to worry about the BCA part of it
I helped my hubby loose weight, cut out fried foods, no unhealthy snacks, limited red meet, no fast food, no soda, no seconds on food either. He drinks lots and lots of water He eats three meals a day and has three snacks (fruit or nuts), plus runs and lifts weights
