Hi,

I'm looking for new Navy moms from the Nashville/Middle TN area.  Son is a DEPPER and leaves for boot camp end of June 2013.  Would like to make some new friends close to me that are going through the same stages and emotions.

So sorry.  We'll miss you, but enjoy the wedding.  It's a wonderful thing to get share someone's special day and celebrate the wonders of life.    I'll post when the next one is Saturday evening.  Hope to see you in February.

Stacy

Middle Tennessee Moms - There is a half and full marathon running on our scheduled meet and greet date.   Unfortunately, this is going to cause a road closure on the road that the restaurant is on.  For that reason and the other traffic/parking issues associated with the marathon, I propose that move the meeting to the next weekend.  We have several families that aren't able to attend this weekend and with the move, hopefully more will be able to participate.  Please RSVP and let me know if you agree with the change.

Talk about rotten luck in planning.   Wow.  We've had our share this month.   Next weekend Vanderbilt has a home game, Titans have a home game Thursday night, and the Predators have a home game Saturday as well.   With that said... parking is minimal, hotels are scarce, and restaurants are expecting to be booming.    Since we had to reschedule for last weeks marathon, may I suggest we delay meeting until December or later.    My Sailor will be home on the 20th of December and as you can guess, I'm pretty booked up from then until after New Years.   Can't wait to see him.   Please post a reply here with dates that you think will work for you and we'll reschedule for the one with the most votes.   Honestly, with the holidays and my kids being home for college, etc, the best time for me would be January.   So, I'm putting the first vote in for that.   Any other suggestions or ideas.   Of course, if you prefer to meet next weekend, we can always move the venue out of downtown, which would also work.   Just let me know and I'll do my best to get the word out.  Thanks.

Hi there Middle TN moms.   I'm so sorry for the delay in getting back to you.   We've been handed quite a few surprises this past month and I'm afraid I've been very busy.   Looking forward to January, the Predators have a home game on the 11th, holiday weekend on the 18th, and the circus is in town on the 25th. Since the Predators are playing at night and we usually meet for lunch, I propose Jan 11th as our next meet date and we can try the Flying Saucer out (which is where we were heading in November before we had to delay).     Despite the many curves my family was thrown this month, on a happier note I am excited to announce my sailor is getting married to his long time girlfriend while home on leave.   Wow, it looks like I'm about to become a mother in law.  :)   Hope to see you all in Jan.

Hi there middle Tennessee moms. Tomorrow is our big day.  I hope to see you all at the Flying Saucer.   Please message me or RSVP on the events tab if you plan on coming. This will help in securing adequate seating.  Looking forward to seeing everyone.

Had a great time with my fellow Navy Moms today.   We've selected Saturday, March 8th as our next meeting date.    We'll be meeting at Jimmy Buffett's Margaritaville in Nashville at 11:30 AM.    For all who came today, thank you and I look forward to seeing you in March.   For those that were unable to make it this month, I hope to see you in March.   Until then, have a great couple of months.

Hi there everyone.  We're two week out from our next get together.   Please RSVP on the events page and let me know if you plan on attending.  This will help the hostess in planning appropriate seating for our group.   I hope to see you all there, both old and new friends alike.  I am very happy to say, based on the events page comments it looks like we're going to have few new faces this time around.  Yay!

BTW - could every one say a quick prayer for my sailor.  They will be picking orders soon and there's lots of things up in the air with a new wife, etc.   Thanks.

I live in Columbia, TN

Exciting times Stacy for you all, sailor and your new daughter in law.  Can't wait to hear what all has happened at our next lunch.

Rebecca M - I live in Columbia too!!! Small world.

Any new middle Tennessee Moms?  My son is signed for dep.  Trying to figure out all the "stuff".  Last one leaving the nest as well and would like to make some new friends as well.

Hello all - been awhile since I've been on this site and I wish you all a Merry Christmas and hope your sailors are doing well.  Our boy is still in (12 years now) and once again, he is away for all the Holidays.  He's aboard the Harry S Truman carrier over "there" somewhere.

If anyone is interested in getting a lunch together, hubby and I would like to attend and catch up with everyone, boost those who want boosted and generally commiserate.
