Well, it came Fedex (in 2 days flat). Why I expected the Navy to use the Post Office I'm not sure but I did ;-)
Good to know, Thanks!
I got my box today (Nov. 1) and I haven't opened it yet. I'm not so sure I'm going to right now. I also got the form letter with his address and graduation date on it! My visit to the post office was a rough one. The first thing I had to do was pick up the box and tears started pouring. Then I went to my box and found an envelope with his writing on it and got so excited I was shaking because I thought I had actually gotten a letter from him already. Then I opened it and found the form letter and my heart was broke again. I made it to the car and was reading through it and on the very bottom found his note and I was shaking so hard that I couldn't read it. I miss my son! :( I miss my sailor! I can't wait to hear from HIM!
My thoughts and prayers are with all of the recruits and their families that have to hold it all together and be strong while they are away!
Sam-my son left on the 26th also from Niagra Falls.Just wondering if you are from close to Salamanca?
Yes actually, I'm in Mayville. I remember your son from the swearing in (when they asked everyone where they were from).
Sam14757 was your son on the flight with my son?
Nope but I think my Daughter was!
I thought that was you. There was only one girl in the group.Nice to know that someone else from my area is on here. Are you going to her graduation? We are driving there.Sorry I didn't write sooner but I didn't even check my messages.
Oh I wouldn't miss it for anything. I'm driving also with two of my other daughters. She called last weekend and let me know she was getting 10 days off after graduation so I guess I'll be bringing her back for a while...:-)
yes my son is coming home with us too!How exciting is that???!!!!What ship/division is she in?
Hi, we said goodbye to our daughter on Oct 27, hardest day of my parent life. I know what you are going through.
