My Son got to Bootcamp Tuesday night. I got his scripted call at 2am Wednesday morning. Welcome hope we can chat together
I got my Box today!!! Waiting for the letter now. Thinking PIR will be 10/10. I got an address with ship and division from the Recruiter but waiting for the form letter
Oh wow nice. still waiting for my letter. should I call Recruiter?. My son arrived to Bootcamp on Aug 13. I received call and box already.
If you have not received The Form Letter on Wednesday (2 weeks after he arrived), then yes, call the recruiter and get the address and double-check the info against that at http://bootcamp.navy.mil/contact_recruit.asp or Ship/Division--How it Works.

Came home from a long day at work to find my sons form letter and his personal items box waiting for us. Made me smile. Went through his things carefully for any signs of how he spent his last few hours as a civilian. Found some sketches he did on the long bus ride to boot camp. I will cherish these and look at them from time to time. Just seeing his hand writing on the letter made me feel better. I plan to write another letter tonight to let him know his items arrived safely. I'm sure he will wonder about his cell phone lol.
What Ship/Division and/or PIR date?
Check your My Page.
I'll let ellen know to post the PIR group. Keep watching PIR 10/17/2014 TG 49 and join when it is up.
