My son left January 29. I got his box today but no letter or address yet. Anyone else have a child leave at this time?

My son left on the 30th and I'm yet to get a box or a letter. I'm not too worried. Sometimes mail takes an extra day because we live rural. That's if they can even find us at all for all the fog!
We also received the box. Form letter usually about a week later. At least thats what it was for a friend's son last year.
I haven't got a box yet...but I got my form letter! My SR son, who shipped out Jan 30th, is scheduled for PIR March 29th! He's in Ship 03, Div 133.
My son is Ship 03 Div 134. How do you know about Battle Stations? I am in California, where are you? I don't think we will be able to make graduation without a miracle! I am very sad about that too. I hope to learn of his friends he's making so I know he will be with someone that day.
Received form letterMy SR is same ship and same div!! Haha
thank you
I have a ? for this group..My son left for bootcamp January 29th. We received his box February 4th and the "form letter" on the 5th. In the letter he states that his graduation is March 29th but we received our 1st call from his this afternoon with him telling us his graduation is now March 22nd, that is if he passes all his tests he says. Is this normal for them to move up graduation dates? This just seems strange to me because he will only be gone to bootcamp a little over 7 weeks. Any information would be greatly appreciated.
Truly confused in AZ...
Thank you for the info. Since I had already booked everything as soon as I rec'd the 1st letter now I have to change everything but it'll all be worth it to see my boy graduate :) Thanks again!
tI'm still waiting for that first real letter, my SR did put in a note when we got his form letter, I know he's in great hands and by the tone of the note is loving it at BC. Just made my reservations at the Residence Inn Marriott in Waukegan. Anyone else staying there?
My daughter left January 29. Ship 14 Div 132. I got her her box Feb 5th and her letter Feb 11th. Brief phone call Feb 16th. No mail from her yet though. I would call the recruiter to see if they could obtain status regarding his box and the letter.
