My son left yesterday and I was hoping to connect with other family members who have a son/daughter that left then as well. I am new to this sight and and still trying to figure out how to find the information that I need. What a great place to get info and connect with others as we need all of the support that we can get.

Greetings from New Orleans. My son left the week before. Supposed to leave 2/4 but no flights available becase of the Super Bowl so they left the next day on 2/5. His "Box" arrived 2 days ago. Does anyone know when info arrives re graduation?
Hi there, my boyfriend left 2/10 so hopefully they are in the same division. His final MEPS was at Fort Mead, Md.
Please delete your post since we are not to indicate our recruit's/Sailor's last names on this site according to the Community Guidelines. See OPSEC and PERSEC (Making Changes To Your Profile) within Boot Camp Moms (and loved ones) for other info you may need to know. I suggest you join that group while you are there.
You aren't the first and you won't be the last to do this; just remember from this point on.

Hello Mom4one!
I have been looking for someone who has left the same day as my son. I miss him so much and can't wait to get his info. to pass along to all the family. Missed his box yesterday by minutes. FedEx left me a sticker on my door. Was so upset considered driving around looking for him.
I can't wait to hear about all the friends my son has been making. I hear these are friends he will keep for life and I plan on making new friends too.
When you get his info. please share with me...who knows they could be shipmates ;)
Oh....and I'm from Michigan
Hi Mom4one!
My boyfriend arrived at GL late in the evening Tuesday night. Perhaps since him and your son left so close to each other they will get to know one another in BC. I would love to talk to you and Tammi and create a small support group for one another.
