it is a great site.  It has helped us so much.  :)  Please tell your friend, to keep working her way through the site, there are so many moms feeling just the same way she does.  It really is strange the SAD/PROUD feelings, she is not alone!  :)

Hello, my son left 9/4 and is in ship 03
Div 354- I'm new to this site- so not sure what
To do but I've seen a few moms who's sons are in the
Same- we got our first letter from him yesterday- it was
Really hard to read about some stuff- someone told
Me after 2 wks bootcamp gets a little easier-
Anyone know if this is true:)

Yes, things do get better for both you and the recruit after a few weeks, not necessarily easier.  Your recruit starts figuring out what is expected and is in better shape physically and you start to settle into the new normal of not having your SR around.  Sometimes recruits write about how terrible things are in their first letters, but by week 4, the division usually starts pulling together, so things are better and some even say they are enjoying BC.

just got form letter this week... wheewwww my son left 09/05..

HAS ANYONE RECEIVED LETTERS FROM DIV360?  I guess... DIV 359-360 are partnered up.. (i dont know if thats the term)..LOL.. Im curious how their divisions are doing..
