Leaving from Atlanta. Is there anyone else leaving at that time?

My son's name is Cody.

is your son's name Michael?

Paula's sweet hubby bought her a ticket so that she could go to the gate to be with the boys at the Atlanta airport yesterday.  There was a mix up with some of the boys tickets and the United Airlines people were less than helpful (much), so she went to the gate and stayed until everything got straightened out.  I know that my son was one of the ones that was pretty anxious.  Her being there really helped.  Thanks Paula!!

Welcome to the group Shelly!
Thank you. I'm so glad we can all be here to support each other.

Shelly, I knew the boys by their last name and I'm sure I knew your son. All the boys were sitting together at the gate, I made sure they ate before they left. I am glad we all here as well to help each other.

Hi All,

Anyone hear or received anything yet?

Nothing yet for us.  Sounds like the average wait time is about a week or so.  Maybe by Friday?  I hope so...I can't wait to find out when PIR is and hoping he slips in a quick note on the form letter!

"The Box" typically arrives 3 to 4 business days after arrival and the form letter around 10 days after arrival, but that has been a little sooner since regular P-days are 4 days now. Arrival and What Happens at the RTC within Boot Camp Moms (and loved ones) will let you know what is happening and what to expect.

I've never been in such a hurry to receive a load of my sons dirty clothes before, lol...I guess BC is for mom's to learn respect as well ;-)

Lemonelephant, I have a question regarding P days....if our kids arrived on Thursday the 10th, the would it go Friday P-1, Saturday P-hold, Sunday P-hold, Monday P-hold (due to Columbus Day), Tuesday P-2, Wednesday P-3, etc...??

H, is it every Saturday and Sunday hold days?

I received the box today, and I hope everyone else did. I'm not sure when we receive the formal letter, does anyone knows?
