My son just left for boot camp on 2-2-16.  Has any other moms hears from their recruit yet?  Feeling a little anxious to find out what ship/division he is on so that I can start mailing letters.

Thanks for your time!!

My son arrived to bc on 2/3/16, I have not received his box or form letter yet, hoping today or tomorrow for at least his box. Writing letters already.

I received the box with his clothes but no address or note.  I've already started writing letters so he will be hit with several at once.

We received our Form Letter today! Our SR is on Ship 14, Division 134. PIR date 3/25/16

Our son left for boot camp on 2-2-16 also. Our son donated his clothes and did not take a cell phone so we never received 'the Box.' Hope you get your letter soon.

Now we are sending the letters we've been preparing for him. So glad to get this 1st official Navy letter from our recruit. And the countdown to the phone call & letters from him begins.

How exciting. I haven't received anything yet. I am hoping when I get home I get one or both of them.

I will be praying for you!  I was about to lose my mind not hearing from him!

Hi. We received our form letter as well. Our son is Ship 14 Div 134 with PIR of 25 March! I've been writing him everyday since he left MEPS on 1 Feb. Hope he has some time to read them. Lol...

Anxious to hear from other moms. Btw, we live in San Antonio, Txt but are currently traveling the country in our RV. We'd love to be there to see his PIR, just need to find a RV park close to base. Does anyone have any info on that?

Our son is in the same division. We have mailed quite a few letters and so has our family & friends. I hope that they bring some needed boost of encouragement as they work hard.

Hope you are able to make PIR. We will be flying in from S FLA.

My son just left yesterday. I got my call at 1 in the morning saying he got there and to look for a box in the mail. He said that will have his unit# in it too.

My son left last Thursday. We got the call around 12:15 am on Friday that he made it. I received his box today but no form letter yet. I was disappointed but the dad's site says that can happen...
Thank you....trying to learn all this is very time consuming! Between work and my other two kids I feel lost but the information I'm slowly learning is helpful...
Our form letter came about a week after we got the box.
