His mom Facebook messaged me last night, got the box via FedEx! Now the form letter is next. Good thing is everyone seems to be getting the boxes around the same time so we will prolly all get the form letters around the same too. Hopefully sooner rather than later!

My son left the 6th as well.  I don't think I've cried yet today.  I'm probably out of tears, though.

I find myself tearing up a lot throughout the day. Today was the toughest because we always had the best Saturdays together watching football and finding fun things to do. I took a nap just so the day will end faster. Can't wait to talk to him.

I received my son's box today.  FedEx tried to deliver it yesterday, but we weren't home.  I was surprised that it came so soon!  I'm really glad to have this site to connect with each other.  I don't know any other local moms and it's nice to connect with ppl who are going through the same thing.

I am SO GLAD you said something!!! There was a tag on my door and I thought it was something for my roommates. I'm so excited that he sent the box to me and can't wait to go pick it up after work on Monday! It gets me even more excited for that form letter! Thanks again for mentioning.

Wow that was quick to get the box! His parents are receiving the box but I don't think they received it yet. Do you know how long after the box the form letter comes?

I think it is supposed to come this week, but I am trying not to get to excited lol. I will be checking my mailbox every day and I will let you know :)

We got the box today, too.  Bittersweet.  I can't wait for the letter, even if it is a form letter!

Got his box today!  I was so excited! It came way sooner then I expected!  I was hoping to see a return address on it so that I could finally send letters.  Does that come with all the graduation info and what not??

Got box today !!!!!! Was so happy to see it. A lil piece of my baby. I miss him so. My oldest son graduates Nov. 21 and I can't wait. Hopeing to see my baby there. We probably won't be able to talk to him. But just seeing him will bring me joy. It's amazing when they are growing up they can do things to get on your nerve, but when they leave you miss them so. I hope all of you Navy moms and dads are doing good. We will get to see our sailors soon. Take Care

I got my boyfriend's box today. He only put his phone in it lol. He throws away so much. It was so good to get it though. Just to see his handwriting made me happy. I can't wait for that form letter. Is it supposed to come this week?

My son Jake left on November 6!  Have y'all gotten their boxes yet?  My son's box didn't have his cell phone in it.  His recruiter said some of the training instructors (is that what they are called) will hold their guys phones for them to make it easier when they get to make a call.
