For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security
Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.
DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

**UPDATE 4/26/2022** Effective with the May 6, 2022 PIR 4 guests will be allowed. Still must be fully vaccinated to attend.
**UPDATE as of 11/10/2022 PIR vaccination is no longer required.

In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

USS RENTZ
3 Females and 240 Males Aboard
We are heading back to sea and sending out love out to the USS Rentz FFG 46. They are currently assisting the Coast Guard performing drug enforcement off the coast of South America. They are about midway of their eight-month deployment and ready for some love from home!
We would like to send each sailor a small VHS sized box filled and wrapped as a Christmas gift to be opened on Christmas morning. If you pack them carefully you can fit eight of this smaller box in a large FPO box. That is a total of 300 VHS boxes... are you ready moms??
Pillowcases are a go! They will have them set out for the guys to choose from on Christmas day.
Remember it is warm where they are- still in the 90 degree range every day! So there is no need of warm hats or gloves for this group... even Santa will want to slip into his bathing suit for this delivery!

By all means. get a USPS account (it's very easy on their website) Then you can order any size box, customs forms, and if you need them, customs envelopes. They are all FREE and delivered to your front door for FREE!!!!

You want. The free flat rate small boxes that would ship for about $5.50each. Do not tell them you are actually shipping in the large flat rate box.

My Navy wife teacher friend in VA said she sent 5 large boxes of assorted stuff that her school collected. My daughters friend sent 2 large boxes one of which had 8 small boxes of toiletries if I got her message right. She told me she enjoyed shopping and getting the boxes ready and plans to continue sending her support!

They are the VHS boxes but her message was '8 small boxes of toiletries and a big box to share' so I'm not sure she understood what we were doing. I had sent her their list of wants and she was going off that. She lives down by Houston and we were communicating via text.
