Well I'm kind of freaking out lol. Well I get to chicago on Wednesday August 31, and I stay until September 4 Sunday. But I don't know when he leaves :(
We are driving up Wednesday (from new York so its about 10 - 11 hours) and plan on staying till Sunday - if he leaves earlier for A-School in Pensacola then we will leave.  I hope they get to stay around though! :)
I, too, am driving to Chicago on Wednesday, but it's only around 7 hours.  I have my room reserved through Sunday night just in case he gets to stay all weekend, but if he leaves sooner, then so will I.  They should be finding out tentative plans any day now.  They are usually more concrete about a week before their PIR...but even then, as it was shown during Memorial Day weekend PIR, plans can always change.  Even if you can't leave when he does (flight plans or whatever), there's still a lot to do in Chicago!  Let's just pray they all get to stay through the weekend!!  :)
Just got a text from my SRs mom. She said he tried to call the house some time yesterday but she wasn't home so he left a message. It said that he hoped he can call again soon. So maybe later this week??? Anyone else get phone calls last night??
NO!! Ahhhh.  He stated in his letter he thought he might be able to call in a week or so.  Hopefully we have a letter in the mailbox when I get home from work!!
No letter for me today....a little bit upset.  Hell week must have been....well, hell on them-lol!!  He was writing every day, so he must have been a busy man!  I hope he took some time and wrote his older brother back though...I would rather him get a letter than me...well, I mean if he only had time to write ONE-lol!!  I hope he calls again this week...and calls ME...because I always answer!! :)
I haven't gotten a call at all, I hope he call sometime this week. That would be a blessing. I was doing some research, and I heard that because its a holiday weekend our SRs will be able to stay longer. I'm just hoping that's true.

Well they've only been able to make one phone call, other than the "I made it" call.  I don't know why he got to call last night if no one else did.  And he must not have had very long if he didn't call me after his mom didn't answer.  They aren't guaranteed to be able to stay longer.  It happened on Memorial Day Weekend PIR, but they found out 2 days before PIR.  Up until then, they were all supposed to leave at the usual times...that's usually the day after graduation for most.  So expect the worst, and pray for the best!!

I ordered my last week and am hoping to receive them soon too!!
I don't want to sound like an idiot, but what are these ribbons I keep hearing about?

they are PIR ribbons and Lala The PIR Ribbon Queen makes them - you can request to be her friend and she sends you all the information.  I ordered mine and waiting for them to arrive in the mail any day now.  The ribbons are $6.50 each and no matter how many ribbons you get Priority shipping is only $6.00 If you buy 4 or more ribbons the price drops to $6.00 each.  Send her a message or request to be my friend and I can email you the information.

Don't forget about Trivia Tuesday today at 10 am on the RTCs Facebook page!! Let's win us a picture!! :)
