I called the photo lab on base. And they said that the photo lab will be open the day of graduation for you to get pictures of the SR. It will take about 1/2 hour for them to make up whatever pictures you want. But they may not be able to get the group picture on that day. I asked my daughter to get what we needed for the family so that we don't have to worry about that on Grad day. What ship and div. is your son with? I got a daate the pictures would be taken of my daughter and the date she can order and look at the pictures and the date they will be ready for pick up by calling the photo lab.
They take photos before graduation day? Also where did you get the number for the photo lab?
The Navy exchange photo lab # is: 847-578-6205
yes they have their professional pictures at the studio taken ahead of time. It is like 140.00 for the largest package which is like 1 11X14 2 8X10 2 5X7 and 24 wallets. You can order more at 11.00 a sheet. Also you get a bootcamp group picture and a memory book which will be mailed later to them and in there will also be some graduation pictures. You can also go to the NEX the day of graduation and see the pics that they took if your son/daughter didn't buy them you can get them the day they graduate at the photo lab or order more if you want to but it will take them 1/2 hour to make up what you want. I chose to have my daughter get them and then I will put the money in her account so that is one less thing that we will have to take out of what little time we will have together. You never know when they will have to leave after graduation some have to leave that same day and some have to spend 5-6 hours to check into the base there if they stay in great lakes. So we don't want to spend our time together at the NEX.
