Choose your Username. For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security
Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.
DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

**UPDATE 4/26/2022** Effective with the May 6, 2022 PIR 4 guests will be allowed. Still must be fully vaccinated to attend.
**UPDATE as of 11/10/2022 PIR vaccination is no longer required.
**UPDATE 7/29/2021** You now must be fully vaccinated in order to attend PIR:
In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

Postcards for May 2010!!! RED/WHITE/BLUE CAN DO!!
Keeping track to be sure we have postcards from all 50 states headed to our dear Seabees! Want everyone of those guys and gals to see pictures of home!
Post what state you can send cards from... best if they have messages from you written on the back! Put the cards in an envelope or box and send them along!!
Below are the states we are still looking for.. If your state is not on the list and you have postcards send them along! The more cards sent, the better your state is going to be represented! The more the merrier!

Thank you so very much Susan! I was getting so discouraged. My family is going through a very difficult time right now - my Dad was suddenly diagnosed with pancreatic cancer and is failing very quickly. They gave him 6-12 mos.to live, he's at the 6 month mark but the doctors in Boston doubt he will make it through the summer. On top of that we have lost 7 aunts or uncles in the greater family from the week before Christmas 2009 through 2 weeks ago. Writing is my way of escape and I really wanted to both help by getting involved in this great project and escapng my own issues for a little while to focus on others. Thank you again, ever so much!! I hope we will get to know each other more in the future.

Hey All, I will be getting some from the Capital of Illinois this weekend. The hubby was able to get me 2 from North Carolina, 2 from Kentucky and 1 from Tenn. when he went on his trip to the Tail of the Dragon.

Take a look on your postcards and see who prints them... I made a phone call to the local company here in Washington. When I called and explained what I was doing they mailed me 50 postcards! Most were discontinued types... but when I walked down to Pike Place last week I spotted several of the discontinued types for sale! Was well worth my phone call!!

Oh Dear! ALABAMA is on there....I'm off to the Alabama Fan Club after work to get some!!! I've been gone for awhile taking care of my Sister-In-Law who suffered a major heart attack on May 18th...only 54 years young!!! Where's the address for our cards? Thanks a bunch!
