Hi all. :)
I know I saw a few moms out there today who mentioned their sons were in class 1101 starting in November. It'll be here before we know it!
For those of you who don't know, I'm Aaron's girlfriend. He's an EM who graduated A school in September. :)
I can't wait to get to know all of you, and hopefully meet you all in April! :)

Ok so this invite is kind of cheasy.  all it says is that the ceremony is Friday, April 22 and commences at 9 am. there is a map on the back with a star near the NNPTC Circle.  The only other things are 2 pages describing Charleston and a list of motels.  My son said that it is nothing to worry about if you don't get an invite because our names are on a guest list.
10 day forcast calls for 50% chance of rain on Friday ladies.  Bring your umbrellas!
I just saw a wife on Facebook post that it was supposed to rain on Thursday and Friday. So sad. :( :(
.... Can you bring an umbrella on carry-on luggage? Or is it considered a weapon? I'm always extremely careful about what I bring when I travel. :/
Not sure if you can bring it, I would think so.  The best thing would be buy a cheap one at walmart when you get there and leave it with Aaron.  Never know when he will need one. LOL
Good thing we're driving home!! :)

Aaron said he doesn't even know if his SLPO is going to send the invites out...

He's 6 days from retiring from the Navy so he's at the point where he really doesn't giving a crap about anything... Positive: he doesn't care what the guys do after Tuesday as long as they show up when they're supposed to. Negative: I may not get the invite.

I think it's a fair tradeoff though. :)

My son told me late yesterday that no one has asked for his address so I won't get one.  BUT the reason he called he needed the name of the local paper because an article will be sent in regarding his graduation.  I'll take that instead.  That way everyone will know why I'm walking around with the HUGE smile on my face! :)
No invite today...  I have a feeling I won't be getting one!

No invite here either.  I'm stopping looking for one.

I haven't been on here in forever, but since we still didn't know exactly when this graduation is scheduled for on Friday, I thought I'd check this out!  I knew you Moms would have the scoop.  My stepson-to-be is terrible on getting any information to us... he just keeps telling us that anyone can come and he hopes as much of the family that can come will.  Jeff and I are going down on Thursday and staying at the Clarion.  We are planning on leaving Friday - Joseph seems to think he'll be leaving with us at the same time, but who knows.  He is going to be going to Ballston Spa, NY (at least, that's where he says it is!) so he'll be home for a short period of time.  We are going to miss going to Charleston all the time (we are only 4 hours away, and have probably seen him every 6 weeks or so).  Hope to see some of you girls there!  Maybe we should wear something in our hair so we'll know who the N4M's are!
I just realized my birthday is the same day as comps!  I am so focused on them that I didn't pay attention that it's the 19th. My daughter sent me a great b-day card..  It says a woman only needs 2 things: a little black dress and a little white lie!

How depressing to not getting an invite yet....Now I wished I would have never found out that they sent some out.  It's almost like "some may or may not graduate" is the message it sends.  I did ask Chase a couple of days ago if he put our names on the guest list and he said "yeah...like 6 or 7 weeks ago".  So why can't we get something to acknowlege this event from the Navy?  Guess I'm feeling left out...plus its nice to add to the Scrapbook when that one day comes that I have nothing to do.  Bah..ha.ha..
