Hi all. :)
I know I saw a few moms out there today who mentioned their sons were in class 1101 starting in November. It'll be here before we know it!
For those of you who don't know, I'm Aaron's girlfriend. He's an EM who graduated A school in September. :)
I can't wait to get to know all of you, and hopefully meet you all in April! :)

My son Dennis is in this class...he drove home here to memphis for thanksgiving..it was such a long drive...leaving his dog Tyson with us for the duration of his training in G.C.
Welcome, Christine. :)
Is Dennis an officer?
Hi aaronsgirl11,
How was your trip to see Aaron? Hope it was great. We have a great visit with Nathan. Of course, it was too short. We watched movies, did a little black Friday shopping, had our dinner Friday as my husband worked Thurs. nite. My son even made a pie! My daughter called from her ship Thurs. She had a good dinner on the ship. Nate has a 3.5 overall with the phyiscs and the math tests of last week. I can't wait til Christmas and being able to see both my kids. Hopefully Lindsay won't be deployed again when Nate graduates Power School.
My trip was great. :)
It was so nice just to have time to ourselves.. not worrying about pleasing his parents and brothers and my curfew.
I'm glad you had a good visit. :) Moments like those are so precious. I hope your daughter isn't deployed when he graduates, too! I'm sure he would be thrilled to have his sister there with him! :) And you'll have both your kids together for Christmas? You're a lucky lady. :) My mom doesn't get that this year again... My brother will be spending his time under the water!

Great job to Nate! Keep up the great work!! :)

Aaron's Physics test didn't go so great.. But he expects a 4.0 on his math test coming up. :)
During Thanksgiving dinner I had the pleasure of hearing the way they grade our sailors' test. Very interesting to say the least. The Nuke program is definitely a tough one!
Since 4-22 is Good Friday what are the chances of them moving the graduation to 4-21? Anyone heard anything on this? Right now we are planning to fly in on Wednesday anyway.
I bet it'll still be Friday..They probably knew it was Good Friday when they scheduled it.
Are the Post Offices closed on Good Friday?
I can't remember from last year. (Old age!) I bet not though because it is a religious holiday.
I just googled it.. Nothing between President's day and Memorial day. I would assume it would still be Friday. Now if Good Friday/ Easter was a national holiday then I'd say Thursday. But I know some schools don't even have an "Easter Break"... It's "Spring Break." :)
We get Good Friday off from school, but it's called a weather day. Our Spring Break is always the 3rd week of March regardless where Easter falls.

1 more test until "Christmas Break" !!!!! :) :) :)

Hi there, My son is an MM3 in this class and just told us this weekend that he is graduating on the 22nd.  He graduated A school in August and had to wait until November to get started in Power School.  I hear the graduation from Power School is another big one.  Looking forward to it.
