Choose your Username. For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security
Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.
DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

**UPDATE 4/26/2022** Effective with the May 6, 2022 PIR 4 guests will be allowed. Still must be fully vaccinated to attend.
**UPDATE as of 11/10/2022 PIR vaccination is no longer required.
**UPDATE 7/29/2021** You now must be fully vaccinated in order to attend PIR:
In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

Please note! Changes to this guide happened in October 2017. Tickets are now issued for all guests, and all guests must have a ticket to enter base. A separate parking pass is no longer needed to drive on to base for parking.

Can't wait for Friday ladies. Safe travel to you all! Our flight is not until 7pm Thursday night. My husband is a teacher and my son is in college so they had to take as little time off as possible. We should be in charleston areound 11pm. Just in time for a little shut eye before the big event. Not sure how I will recognize you all but just knowing you are out there somewhere is a nice feeling.

Now that everyone has survived the graduation, I would love to hear what your sailors are doing. I haven't talked to my son yet this week, but he thought he would be working at Patriot's Point.

My son got Habitat for Humanity. We hadn't heard good things about it, but evidently that was the downtown location, which they don't go to anymore for that reason. I guess there is another location just down Red Bank, so not far from base. He went yesterday from 9 till 1. Said he spend some time dangling 40 feet in the air (could be an exaggeration), from a rope, spraying fiberglass onto the inside walls of a building. Sounds interesting anyway. We'll see what other fun stuff he gets to do, ha. New experiences so that is good.

Mine is taking college classes during grad hold. He starts classes next Tuesday.
btw, he got married on Tuesday and they are planning a big wedding next summer.

no we weren't there when he got married. he knew we wanted to be there, but her parents couldn't afford to fly out and she didn't think it would be fair if we were there and her parents weren't. But I am helping with planning for this summer.
