Hi Alison,  just spoke with my son briefly tonight. He said they have an exam tomorrow.  We don't get to speak that often. From what he says he does a lot of voluntary study hours.   I am actually going down next weekend for a little trip.  Not really expecting to see much of him but thats ok.  Hope all is well.  Nancy

I hope you have a wonderful time!  I have to say I'm a bit envious!!! :-)

Oh Momma$ we are on the same timeframe. . . my son called this week, also.  Such a nice surprise.  He is fairly good at texting but the calls are so much better!

I found the Nuke pipeline schedule online here:

http://www.public.navy.mil/bupers-npc/officer/Detailing/submarinenu...

According to this schedule, the 11/9/12 grads are to report to prototype on November 26 - so much for down time!!  It's possible not everyone in Class 1204 will be leaving then, but a good portion will be.   My son asked about this schedule and was originally told there are so many ETs, EMs, and MMs, he prob. wouldn't be going then, but now has been told he may end up reporting to prototype on 11/26 after all.   We will know more when the time gets closer.  I'm bummed because if so, Christmas home does not look good . . . .

Oh no PhoenixMom this would be disappointing to say the least for them and us.  We will have to make the best out of the time at graduation.  Moments still make memories; lets hope and pray for the best.  Anyway thank you for sharing.  Hang in there, I know I will try too.

Thanks for sharing, Phoenix Mom.  Still am not hearing much from my son - he posted on Facebook that he is having problems with his phone and has to send it in for service...  and I guess the internet is sketchy in his building for using his laptop.  Even though they start on 11/26, hopefully (maybe!) they'll get a few days off for Christmas.  This SOBC after Prototype is new to me - anyone know what that is?

I found this Rectorteach it may help; like you I am hopeful, keep the Faith, Momma$

Thanks for all the info!  I just found the Nuke group.  My son, I believe is in Class 1204.  We visited him in the middle of June but haven't heard much from him since.  He missed his younger sister's wedding in March while at OCS and now it looks like November 9th is the day before his twin sister's wedding.  At least he might make it for the rehearsal dinner as he is only five hours away.

Wanted to put in my thx for all the info, also.  Won't be getting my hopes up to high . . . but will still have fingers crossed.  I know my son said two of his friends are graduating in the next few weeks and still have no idea what, where or when they will be going.  All on Navy time :)

Hi Moms has anyone heard anything new on Class 1204 and the November 9th Graduation?  and the Holiday schedule?

November 9th it is!  Two months from today!

I am really looking forward to graduation and have made travel plans.  We will be traveling from Maine and are staying at the Wingate in North Charleston.  I'm looking forward to meeting other Moms too!
