Started the countdown, also.  Prayers, Blessings and Good Luck to all our Sailors as they tackle these last two months.

Heard from our son from what he said they will be practicing for graduation the week leading up to 11/9 so I am excited we will be able to spend time Thursday nite with him!  Flying out of RI on the 8th I can't wait. and yes as Leann said keeping them all in prayer as well as all of you Moms Dads and families of our Nukes!

Does anyone know if they have off Monday, November 12th?  Sunday is November 11th, Veterans Day and the federal holiday is Monday.

At this point, I would like to wish you and your sailors all the best!  It seems my son has had a change of plans.  This past week, he went to Fort Lee in Virginia and is awaiting assignment to a ship.  Haven't got many details yet, but it seems like nukes didn't work out.  Thanks to all of you for the chats and discussions!

Good luck to you and to your son! It seems the sailors who start out as Nukes land on their feet wherever they are moved to. I hear lots of reports of Nukes being rerated for vaious reasons and ending up VERY happy. Best Wishes!! :-)

Wishing all the best to you and your son!

Hi all..My son is in 1204-1.

It is getting very close . . . hang in there to all our Sailors!  You are so much closer to the light at the end of Power School tunnel!  Blessings to all of you!

Thank u Leann, Blessings, Prayers and lots of Hope and Love to all the soon to be grads and their parents.  Soon we will all be on common ground in Goose Creek!  Can't wait! No word from my son but I know he is BizEE with all to be accomplished as are the rest of the Sailors.  Shall I say it's not over 'till the last ship bell Rings?

We'll be leaving for Charleston a month from today! Haven't heard anything for over a week- I think it is several big tests time?

We heard from our son.  He said that he still has to pass comps. He is putting in a lot of study time. I think it has been very busy for them.

I saw on FB that some folks got the invitation today for graduation!  I didn't but can't wait to see if it comes tomorrow.  These next weeks can't go by fast enough for me.  Come on Nov 9th!
