Choose your Username. For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security
Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.
DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

**UPDATE 4/26/2022** Effective with the May 6, 2022 PIR 4 guests will be allowed. Still must be fully vaccinated to attend.
**UPDATE as of 11/10/2022 PIR vaccination is no longer required.
**UPDATE 7/29/2021** You now must be fully vaccinated in order to attend PIR:
In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

Please note! Changes to this guide happened in October 2017. Tickets are now issued for all guests, and all guests must have a ticket to enter base. A separate parking pass is no longer needed to drive on to base for parking.

my son left on the 18th also. No word yet, got the box yesterday, but the recruiter hasn't returned my call yet on Ship and Division. I thought there would be info in the box, was I wrong? We're going out of town and would hate to miss the letter and not be able to write to my son until we get back. :(

I was having trouble with the recruiter to. I just refused to back down today. I too got the box yeasterday and I was hopeing that since they had the weekend that I would get the graduation information yesterday also.
Seems as though alot of people have been getting it in 6 days!!! Today may be our lucky day!!!

Will there be a note from our son/daughter in that letter about graduation? I must have gotten confused, I thought it would be in the box.

I have heard that the can sometimes write a quick note....just not a lengthy letter.

The box only has the clothes--unless you have an unusually thoughtful child who wrote a note for you to find or one that gave you spare change from their pocket! :)
The form letter comes later with the address and PIR info. I did get mine in 6 days, but that was really unusual and fast. Most don't arrive for 10 days and some people wait closer to 15 days or more.

I will be happy to create a group....I just have not yet received confirmation that my daughter's PIR is July 15.

I feel pretty confident that it will be 7/15. I created a group for her ship and division as ohevetbeni created on for PIR 7/15.
Hopefully by the time of her PIR I will have figured out how manuver the website and group!!!
