DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

There's been discussion about N4M's from each division wearing scarves (neck, wrist, purse, wherever...your choice) of different colors to PIR 5/6/2011 to identify with others in your division, and to recognize others as N4M's. This is purely optional, but a lot of us think it sounds fun.

I decided to start a discussion here, so we could discuss other matters in the group, and so it won't keep getting lost. LOL

These are the colors that have been suggested ...

157- bright pink

158- white

159- green

160- blue camo

161- orange

162-silver/gray

163- Navy Blue

164- red

165- yellow

166- aqua

Looking forward to a Starbucks expedition when we get to Waukegan.    My son is in SHip 12 Div 157, but I understand that 157 and 158 will be doing the Battlestation event together.  I look forward to meeting you.  Mary

Definitely, you too velvetlace!!

I am also a coffee fanatic. 100% columbian for at home with half and half or light cream..love it!

Okay, jbird.   Starbucks or bust.  I can't wait.  I love dark roast with half and half.   I also have them put one pump of vanilla.   A treat for sure.   Mary
hee hee!! Starbucks is waaaaaaay to expensive for me! and actually the nearest is about 45 minutes away so I have no chance of getting addicted. HOWEVER.. I have tried it and it is fantastic!
I have my own tall cup and I get the dark roast coffee for $1.40.  It is about the same as most coffee.  It is the fancy drinks that cost a bit.  I have a gold card and every 15 visits, I get a fancy drink, any size for free.   Mary
really? 1.40 is not bad. I guess I was wrong
Jbird----------No, you are not wrong when it comes to the lattes, frappaccinos, and the other fancy types of drinks, those can be pricey.  I stick with the coffee unless I have a freebie card. Once in a while I will get a tall latte, but I have to admit that I watch the prices.    Mary

something is really wrong with my navigating this website lately!!!
