Welcome to the Division Discussion for Division 920

Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

Get to know each other, your SRs are!

Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.

Every single question that is asked is important Every single concern is genuine Every single member is important to us We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there!!!

I was hoping for a phone call Sunday...but nothing. Missing my daughter.
Did anyone else hear from their SR in this division? Thank you. :)

I heard from my son last Friday but not on Sunday.  He actually received a lot of time...he was able to call me, dad and his sister.  He let me know then that that call was instead of Sun and not to expect another call.  He also said some of the other recruits were at swim practice if they had not passed that portion yet...I hope we hear something this weekend.

I got my second letter from today. He is asking for twizzlers and  sour apple straws from SAMS.

I got a letter on wed. but no phone call. My son said that his phone card kept cutting out on him. His letter said there would be a next time to call but did not say when it would be. He is excited about PIR.

Good day division 920.getting very excited for PIR .we are looking into packing for our SR for A school and was wondering if you had any ideas if she can take a 21 inch suitcase. Will they have storage or should I pack her stuff in a duffel bag? Any ideas

Anyone get a call from their SR yet today. Trying to see if they are going to be allowed to call today. It is getting kind of late.

Nope, no call today.  Last time we talked was Friday before last.

I haven't heard from my SR in over 2 weeks. Instead of calling last Fri. she had to go to swim practice to practice the prone float. Maybe next week. :( at least they are all enjoying themselves. She said in her letters that they have mainly been studying and enjoying the food. I'm glad the horror stories are not real. :-) ♡

Any news from any SR's in this division?

Does anyone know if we will hear from our SR after hell week or until after battle station 21? My SR last call was two weeks ago and said that she'd probably be able to call after capping ceremony . Anyone under the same impression?

After she passes Battle Stations she will call and tell you "I am a Sailor"...not sure if she will get to call before that. Sorry to not be more help!
