Welcome to the Division Discussion for Division 932

Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

Get to know each other, your SRs are!

Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.

Every single question that is asked is important Every single concern is genuine Every single member is important to us We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there!!!

Hi J's Mom!!  Nice to "meet" you too!!  So happy for all the SR and their parents...I am glad they all sound so upbeat and positive....makes our job alot easier!!

Got a call from my son tonight...wasnt expecting it.  We talked for quite some time.  He sounded good...told me so much about his experiences at boot campp so far.  Miss him so much...just a little over a month and we can see him.  Counting the days on that one!!

Good Morning Ladies! 33 more days until PIR.

Is it ok if  I have a second grade class send letters to my sons division?  Also, can we send newspaper articles or should we scan them and send?  Thanks to anyone who can answer these questions..the second graders are so excited to send letters to our SR's....

It is fine to have a class send letters to your sons division. You can put them all in a manila envelope and send them to your son. You might want to give him a heads up that they are coming, and ask him to pass them out, especially to those not receiving mail. Have the kids put their return address them, some may get note back.

For the newspaper articles, some RDCs allow them some do not. I would scan them to regular paper before sending them .

Thank you so much for the info Ellen0502...If anyone wants me to forward any to their children, I will do so...PM me and will make sure they get a note, picture or letter from our second graders!! They are excited to do this...have another class who wants to do it too!!  They love the idea of writing to our SR's!! I
