Welcome to the Division Discussion for Divisions 916 and 917.

Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

Get to know each other, your SRs are!

Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.

Every single question that is asked is important Every single concern is genuine Every single member is important to us We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there!!!

My SR hasn't mentioned anything about tests. In letter I just mailed, I asked him. I have no clue! I've only had a short phone call. His long one went to his girlfriend but she didn't mention tests either.

The same happened to my daughter, she also had her two bottom teeth removed, but she's ok now. She called me last Saturday, she had a whole hour call, and on Monday she called again, but this time she only had 15 mts. I was expecting that she call me today, but nothing yet. Do you know if it is very cold by                           graduation time, I mean if snow is possible by the begining of March, I'm from Miami, that's the point.

My SR is in ship 2, div 917, what about yours?

Up here it could be 20 it could be 50 in March.  It could snow too, it does until sometimes in April/May.  I can update weather closer to PIR for you...Sunshine and I both are 917

Thank you, I'll appreciate it. Where are you from?

WI for me

Anybody out there thinking about or have a plan to get to the airport to see their SR off?  Are you renting a car or using Sarge?  Do you want to see if we can do it together so it doesn't cost so much?  Let me know.  My SR said that he most likely will be flying out of O'Hare. Does Sarge even run that late at night?

I don't know how I'm getting to the airport and back to hotel to see my SR off!! Have arranged for Sarge to get me to and from the airport for my flights but not this.  Would be happy to share Sarge or cab if possible.  Will have to wait and see what our SR's flight plans are.

Sounds good!  My husband gets irritated with me because he thinks that I over think things lol.  I would hate not to be able to see my SR  just a little bit more because I didn't over think :)  We will figure it out.

(Ship 02/div 916) I just turned my husband on to Navy Dads - not as rich with postings as our site, but it gives him an opportunity to view some male "over-thinkers!" I'm with you - want to spend as much time with him as possible. I'll try and stay up all night after PIR before he heads off to A school (Monterey)! Sure hope he flies out from O'Hare - we've got a reservation near the airport for the last night or two. For PIR, we'll be at Springhill Suites (thanks to the discount my younger son, who cooks at the Marriott at SeaTac gets).

Hi everyone...do all of the div 917 members in here know the job/role their SR is doing at PIR?  can you share with me please?  and Thank you

Hi there, my son is 917 as well, we are coming in from maryland.

My SR is carrying the Missouri flag...unless something has changed and he hasn't told me :)
