I have only found a couple of people in this group.  Please let me know if you are, as the different groups are planning on wearing certain colors of scarves to PIR.  Dana

awe, thank you so much. I hope she makes it. She really wants this.
I ordered mine from amazon also.  Such great prices!  I was hoping for a phone call also.  But none came.  My letters are just dwindling in now.  If I am lucky I get 2 a week.  My SR said they were very busy and studying alot.  I can't wait to meet you all.  I'm so excited to see my SR!
hi saliormom, I will write to you soon, about graduation.... how you doing and how's your daughter, its almost over can you believe it.

Hi Faye,

My husband and I will definitely be at the meet and greet.  We are flying in on Wednesday evening.  As far as the scarves, just go to Amazon.com.  In search, just type in scarves women.  It will bring up a list of different scarves.  I ordered the bright yellow one that was #9 down.  If you need any other help let me know.  Dana

juliea243, I wouldn't stress over it too much.  From what I read, they do everything they can to get them through bootcamp.  I worry all the time about my son making it through, plus never getting to talk to him doesn't help.  Our kids our tougher than we think.
I know what you mean. I wish I could only talk to her. Oh well I know she is trying her hardest.
I'm sure she is fine.  My daughter was mentioning that everyone was doing well, even those on LLD.  They just didn't take the test within the same 24 hours so didn't earn a flag.  At this point, no news is good news.  Can't wait until PIR.  So excited!

so did my daughter! She called today too. She was on limited light duty too and got off. She took her test and passed, but she is afaird of her knee hurting and not making the final run. She doesn't want to stay 2 more weeks. It was really good to hear from her!

That's great.  Congratulations on your call.  I hope they all get to call home on the 12th.  Seems like forever since I talked to her.
Congratulations to you who received phone calls.  I'm sure my son is having a problem with getting beat by girls.  It's a good lesson!
She said that they all will get to call on the 12th

Hi All,

I'm late at joing and wish I knew about this earlier, what a great support base.  I only found out from a letter my I received from her saying that some of the girls mom's were talking and I should join.  So here I am.

My daughter is Ship 03, Div 146 and I am so proud of her and exicted for April 22.

I don't know if I will make it for the meet and greet, it depends on how long the drive takes us from O'Hare to Great Lakes.  Is there anything I missed that I should know about?

I look forward to meeting all of her shipmates Mom's.
