Oh I just can't believe it is really getting closer!!!!(0:  Yes, I will go to that discussion group to see about the colors.

I guess I was figuring on Sarge's Meet and Greet?  Which do you think?  It just sounds so nice that this gentleman makes that happen for the parents(0:

Let me know what you think.... so far, you're the only mom, I think, that I know in this division.  Are there more of  us???    If not, we'll have to choose a color, let LaLa know, and if you want to order ribbons for PIR, we can.  :)     Let me know what you think!

Yes...I think that one would be great, glad you chose that too.... I did RSVP on that site today.

I am so looking forward to getting there!  Hoping the weeks fly by!  Looking forward to meeting you as well!  :)

Have a GREAT night!

Hi Robin,

Okay, I am interested in the Ribbons, what colors and where do we place our order? Are we on the wrong site? Surely there are more Parents then us? What site are you referring to that your RSV'ed too? UGHHH??? I am sorry, this is very confusing for me...

Cat

Hi Cat..... this is the right site. Each division has there own "discussion" group.  I made created this one, I seen that there wasn't one for our girls div/ship.  While I was away last week, I noticed on the PIR 3/16/12 site, that each individual division were picking colors so at the PIR we would all know who's division we belonged too! :)

We have to choose our colors..... and LaLa, she is on these sites and will post, can make the ribbons, and i think she makes other things too, which we can individually purchase and then wear up at PIR.   We just have to select colors that other divisions have not!  LaLa will let us know, I'm sure.  We can come up with possibly a few colors and I can ask her which ones are still available.

I'm not sure if moms of our division know of our site..... I've been posting and asking!  :)     On the PIR 3/16 site.... before all the posts, you'll see Sarge meet and greet... click on that link, and up in upper right hand corner is three options, attend, maybe and will not.  I clicked on attend, and wrote a post at the bottom that myself and my son (maybe) will be there!  Let me know if you can't find it!   So looking forward to meeting everyone!!!!!

Hi Everyone!  Spoke to LaLa (ribbon queen).........and she told me of the available colors for our div.  Red with navy blue anchors on  her FB page (unique memory makers) is beautiful and available.  So, we collectively after an hour of talking, chosen those colors for our DIV.

You can send LaLa aka Lora a friend request, and/or go to her FB above, and look at her scarves and see how nice they are.  If you see another color and it is still available after speaking to her, just let me know.  I really liked the Red... and Lala said they come out beautiful!

You all can order ribbons as well!   Let me know!

Love the colors!!!(0:

I do too!!!!  :)  Did you see the pics?  It looks so nice!  I am ordering ribbons.... and waiting to hear from my mom to see if she wants a scarf too!  You can also just wear a red scarf as well... I am sooooo excited!  3 more weeks!!!!

Oh, I am so very excited also!!!!!!!  No, did not see the pics yet)0:

My Daughter is also in 03/096

Yahhhhhh nice to meet you!!!   Glad to have more parents on here!

Hi Robin,

I have found LaLa on Face Book, she creates beautiful work! I love the scarves and Red with the Navy Blue Anchor with be perfect! I think a scarf will be just the right thing to have for Great Lakes. If none of you have been there before, I want to warn you in advance it is very, very windy! That wind is very bone chilling. Especially for anyone coming from the South or warmer climate and is not used to chilly winds. It blows right through you. I don't know if there will still be snow on the ground, but be prepared for that wind. My oldest son graduated from GL's in the late 1990's, we lived in IL at the time, and still were not prepared for that wind. We drove up from Belleville for the day and even though the sun was shining, oh my goodness. Just letting you all know.

Red is perfect and I thank you Robin and LaLa for picking out this perfect color for our Div/Ship.

I am less frantic now, I have my reservations to stay, just waiting to hear from my son if he will be able to spend some time with me during Friday and Saturday, since he will not be leaving GL. His school is right there.

I am so looking forward to this trip, I hope I will get to meet you Robin if you attend Sarge's (I just have to find a ride as I had not planned to rent a car, that part of the trip I still need to work out, LOL) and anyone else that will be attending.

Just counting the weeks, which will soon turn to days!

Hugs to all and looking forward to meeting y'all *wink* (Georgia Speak)

Got another letter!!! YAHHHHHHHHHHH  3 more weeks... THREE MORE WEEKS!!!!!!!!!   Aahahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh   (scream)!!!!!  LOL LOL   So excited to see her!
