Choose your Username. For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security
Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.
DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

**UPDATE 4/26/2022** Effective with the May 6, 2022 PIR 4 guests will be allowed. Still must be fully vaccinated to attend.
**UPDATE as of 11/10/2022 PIR vaccination is no longer required.
**UPDATE 7/29/2021** You now must be fully vaccinated in order to attend PIR:
In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

Please note! Changes to this guide happened in October 2017. Tickets are now issued for all guests, and all guests must have a ticket to enter base. A separate parking pass is no longer needed to drive on to base for parking.

My Son is in 315 as well! Got his form letter on Monday. No notes:( but it was nice to see his hand writing on the outside of the envelope. This should be a busy week for 315 as they finish eye exams and dental check ups. Swim Qual should be at the end of this week. Love the ticker counting down to graduation. The whole family will be adding this to our phones.

We got our kid in the box on Friday but our kid was missing pants and shoes. That is just a little strange. Especially since we got the socks and underwear. Anyone else missing parts of their kid :)

Do they have odd size in shoes? My son went in 2 years ago and he had to wait on his running shoes, so he had to keep his shoes for a few days until the Navy issued ones came to him. I didn't find that out until he came home. They are issued boots and running shoes there and my son had to wait on the running shoes for some reason. He had bigger feet. He's pretty tall.

No his shoe size is a 10 1/2 M. So maybe it is too Common a size. I asked him in a letter so maybe they will let me know.

They can also donate there clothes at least that is what I heard. I told my son no donations, please send them home. He did. I still have all the stuff except his phone in the box. I am not sure if I want to wash them or just peek in and see what it was that he wore that last day. He truly is missed.

My son is a 10 1/2 or an 11 sometimes so maybe it has something to do with the size.

My SR's brother is now a corpsman and was telling me that some things get tossed. They told them before they left to not wear anything they want to see again...so not sure if thats just a joke or they really do toss things? my boyfriend sent everything to his mom so i dont know what he got back.

I had to laugh when I got the box. BOTH of her pant legs were rolled up. Her sister only had one rolled up when her stuff came back. Her contact solution was in one shoe, and her cell was in the other shoe. Made me laugh.
