My son is in this Division.  So glad to have found you all just yesterday.  Praise God - His timing to bring me here right before Christmas when I am missing my son like crazy is such an immense blessing.

Glad to hear from another Mom, it has been tough, and the holidays make it evern more sad. I miss my son so much.

God works in mysterious ways. Welcome to our group.

Thank you.  I don't know where I'd be without my Lord!!!  Getting through this is so hard - without God I don't even want to imagine it.

I am praying every day and during the night when I wake up I am praying for my son. God is watching over them.

How old is your boy Donna?  Mine just turned 21 in October.  So glad you responded!  It does feel a little bit better to know someone else is in your shoes and missing their son just like I am.

My son  turned 21 in August, he was still living at home when he left for bootcamp, so it is very hard not seeing or talking to him everyday.

Got a letter today!

Did he say anything about the division?

He also said he had made many friends, which is a good thing for all of them, to stick together and work as a team.

Got a letter today!  She said that the group got two flags, awards.  One for inspection and one for academic.  I am so proud.  She was also telling me how much she appreciated all the things I have done for her to prepare her for military life.  While I was a single military mother, everything had to be very specific and this was normal to me.  Now I am glad I did what I did because my three children have many talents that others do not.

I got a letter too.  My girl did mention that several girls were ASMO'd(sent home)  :-(  She did say to her father that she actually is ENJOYING bootcamp.  She said it was like high school without the drama LOL!  She is such a funny kid.  She said they've actually had some fun, not much she says but some. She said one of the boys got treats and had to throw them all away.  She was sad she didn't get to talk to me when she called, and says ANSWER not matter WHAT THE NUMBER! LOL She is on laundry crew, which is good for her.  She always did her own laundry.  She said her camo makes her look manly! LOL  She misses being a girl.

Isn't it January yet??  Can't wait to see her.
