I just read the Community Guidelines.  They don't want us to post that information.  I never read them.  You may want to review it.  It has some things on there I wasn't aware of.

Where are the Community Guidelines?

Found them. Thanks.

So happy your son called today too!  I'd love to know if our boys know each other, but from what I've read, I agree it's not safe to post their full names.  Somewhere I read some of their superiors read content on this site, so not to post anything that might draw attention to your SR.  I'd like to private message you.  How do I do that?

I just sent you a friend request

Division 47, my SR said on the phone today that yesterday, today, Sunday-Christmas and Monday are holiday schedule and that day one  of week 4 which would have been yesterday(Friday) is now going to be on Tuesday, the 27th.  Next Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday are also holiday schedule. Therefore, if you are counting from the day to day schedule this should help you.

My son called, and it was the first time I've talked to him in just over 5 weeks!  It was the VERY BEST CHRISTMAS PRESENT EVER!!!  He sounded so good and strong, and I pray he feels as good as he sounds!  Praising and thanking God for the phone privileges that were granted to our children today.  It absolutely MADE my Christmas!

I received a call too, talked for a long time, he was doing good and seemed happy. Said that they are really taking care of them there. He was looking forward to the holiday schedule, said they were to have a special meal for Christmas Day. The call made my Christmas too!

Merry Christmas Everyone!

I am so happy you both got a call. It's amazing how much comfort hearing their voice can give us.

I also received a call yesterday.  It was wonderful timing, we had a bunch of family over and some of her friends too.  She got to talk to a lot of people.  I was just so glad to hear her voice!

Hope you all are having a Merry Christmas.

So happy to hear this wonderful news!  I never appreciated hearing my son's voice like I did yesterday, that's for sure!  However, I do admit to calling his cell phone since he's been gone just to hear his voice on his vmail!!!

For those of you that have sons in division 47 there is a picture posted on Recruit Training Command Site  on Facebook with theirrer picture. It is labeled as division 47 and 48. I am so sorry ladies that the girls were not photographed. I hope you all got a phone call yesterday and had a very Merry Christmas today.
