Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security
Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.
DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

**UPDATE 4/26/2022** Effective with the May 6, 2022 PIR 4 guests will be allowed. Still must be fully vaccinated to attend.
**UPDATE as of 11/10/2022 PIR vaccination is no longer required.
**UPDATE 7/29/2021** You now must be fully vaccinated in order to attend PIR:
In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.
Get to know each other, your SRs are!

I use an iPad so I can't copy the link on fb. Go on fb and search "PIR 11-20-15 Navy Boot Camp 9 Division (011-018, and 902)". They are under the photos. I also uploaded it Saturday under my comment, it's a jpg file. Good luck and if you can't find it maybe I can email it to you.

I love the idea of having a table to mark where we can get connected to other families in our SR's division. We are planning to attend but will be flying in so I will be really limited in what I can bring but I am happy to help share the cost of others.
Not sure if others have seen the pics of hotel doors being decorated as well. Since we can't bring banners or anything, it's apparently tradition to decorate your hotel room door (and I guess Navy Lodge and other nearby hotels are accustomed to this). Again, I don't have much space but am planning to bring some items (like a navy plastic table cloth and cut out letters) that I can tape together when we arrive. Just wanted to put that out there for others to think about.
Oh, and 15 DAYS!!!!!
