Welcome to the Division Discussion for Divisions 063 and 064

These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

Get to know each other, your SRs are!

Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.

Every single question that is asked is important Every single concern is genuine Every single member is important to us We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there!!!

Got a call on Christmas Eve and asked that very question and my son said he thought fire arms this week.  He said the divisions are doing good but it tends to be more like some day's they're right on and do awesome and then some and other days not so much and it's those days he said it's for "stupid stuff" --- making beds and the sort because they don't spend a lot of time drilling that in the last few weeks, so when they have a newbie come in who's only been in the division a week and that's all they drill, the newbie tends to get it right while the ones who've been there half their time already are a little lax.  It was kinda funny listening to him tell the story.  He says there's still a bunch that are challenging to the entire division and they're doing what they can, but not so sure what's going to happen for them.  He didn't elaborate what it was they were being difficult wtih....whether it's just that they have behavior issues or struggling with passing things, but he did say they're still an issue.

He had his wisdom teeth out.  they told him at his evaluation that he'd have two out and then he got there and they decided oh hey let's take them all. He's had some snafu's with effectiveness in the medical part, but all in all he's doing better and better each time I talk to him.  Says he doesn't care about anything but graduating, sooooooooooooooooo here's hoping ladies!!!

My son is in 03 064 and he says there are still a few who can't keep their mouths shut.  He is ready for graduation and to get into his A school  Not much longer, only 17 shopping days left :)

Mine hasn't been willing to elaborate specific details, but he seemed to have a doubtful tone in his voice regarding the ones who are causing trouble in the division.....meaning they've tried to work with them and judging by the tone in his voice he doesn't sound very hopeful for them.

17 more days....WOOOOO HOOOOO!!!

hi all, my son is on ship 03 div 064. im counting down the days till graduation and i can see him again. i will be the one holding a 1 year old (his son) crying my eyes out but standing so tall and proud of him!!! i have read all of the post and everyone is saying the same thing my son has been telling me in phone calls and letters. cant wait to see him again!!!

Don't worry I will have a lot of Kleenex, I'll share with ya.

Hi Everyone! I'm new here and my son is in Ship 03 Div 063! I'm glad that everything I've read here is the same as what I've heard from him during our calls. Christmas Eve is the last time I've heard from him. I hope all is going well with all of them and I'm counting down the days until graduation!

Btw..he's headed to Pensacola after graduation for IT!

Welcome aboard.  My son has two friends who went throughbc and they ssid the last two weeks are "ball busters" and we may not hear from him as much.  I know that I am pretty much sleeping, eating and carrying my phone EVERYWHERE with me.  Lol

Thanks Ruddgirl! I know what you mean! I take my phone everywhere also!

I talked to my son this evening, only because he needed some additional references for his background check! I was happy nevertheless!! ;-)  He's in Div 063 and said they are scheduled for their pfa test, battle station and other tests next week. I think its cutting it close to the graduation date, but maybe the weather has something to do with it

thanks for the info!  I haven't heard from my SR since Christmas day.  I was hoping to hear a little about how much time he might get to spend with us after graduation and before he goes on to Cali.  I have heard most everyone gets a few hours..I hope...I did get a letter that said they rocked their simulated fire. He was really excited. about it and hoping they did just as good in the real one, which was the next day. Our men are almost through boot camp!  oh and he said the RDCs have been happy with them. He hoped that lasted too. :)

btw my SR is div 063 as well. :)

Hey precious ones.  My son in Div 64.  I didn't think I was gonna be able to go until yesterday.  So very glad those plans changed.  Yippee!  I too haven't heard from him since Christmas Eve.  Makes it even harder! 10 more days & I'll see his sweet face!!
