Welcome to the Division Discussion for Divisions 147 and 148

These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

Get to know each other, your SRs are!

Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.

Every single question that is asked is important Every single concern is genuine Every single member is important to us We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there!!!

I got a letter yesterday too.  :) I love mail days!

My son is in Div 147.  We have been fortunate to receive two phone calls so far.  Also got a letter from him. I can't wait to see him on 4/18.  I am sure it will be a wonderful day.

My sons in 147 as well and I'm sure it will b wonderfull they so deserve it.. They are heroes already!! Just 4 doing what their doing !!

Im so excited!  Just booked the Ramada for PIR weekend!

Hi ladies, I'm sending extra letters of encouragement to my son, in hopes that all goes well during Hell Week! I worry about him and hope all our sailors make it thru with great success!

My husband booked the NavyLodge, but still have not made reservations yet. Can't fly southwest, they dont fly from our city. I see that we should make "changeable" tickets but can you make them through the internet or do you have to go to travel agent?

Still can't figure out how to follow the most recent comments. The page I am on which is PIR 4/18/14. but the last comment shows Wednesday. Hopefully I can have my husband help me figure it out later. Off to put on offer on our new home in NC. Back to CO on Wednesday.

I think I finally figured this out, how to post. Well I still haven't heard from my son either by letter or phone. I have figured that I probably wont get a call until the "I'm a Sailor" call in 2 weeks, but haven't gotten a letter other than the 2 line letter a few weeks ago. I guess we'll have a lot to talk about during the weekend. I have been following the "thread" for the past couple of weeks on my cell, but couldn't figure out how to respond on it. maybe now I can.

I haven't heard from my boy either I'm like you hoping for the best waiting for the I'm a sailor call! God bless em all!

Finally a letter and Phone Call.  He says he is "having FUN!"   Sounds great and loving it. Food NOT bad and making a lot of new friends.  Only complaint  misses Cell Phone.  Makes my heart Happy!  Also I have to giggle at the FUN part????

How is everyone doing?? Its Getting So Close! Can't wait to see my Son :)

Getting extremely excited and antsy over here! Counting the seconds!!!!!!!
