For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security
Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.
DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

**UPDATE 4/26/2022** Effective with the May 6, 2022 PIR 4 guests will be allowed. Still must be fully vaccinated to attend.
**UPDATE as of 11/10/2022 PIR vaccination is no longer required.
**UPDATE 7/29/2021** You now must be fully vaccinated in order to attend PIR:
In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

Welcome to the Division Discussion for Divisions 327 and 328
These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.
Get to know each other, your SRs are!

Hunters mom - my son same Div I have not received any letters from him or call either!! I've sent letters out when I fit form letter on Sat. Hope foe a letter maybe today will let you know as I've been wondering if anyone from this Div got anything!

Just got a call from my son (ship 3 div 328). SO GREAT to hear his voice! He's hanging in there! Said he's wiped out and it's tough. Said weeks go fast but days are long. Definitely looks forward to mail/pics from home too!

I just got a call from my son! He's ship 3 division 327. He kept it short saying not all the phones were operational. And he also had already called his dad. He sounded good and says they are eating really well and were in processing for ten days, also that are just starting regular pt although they did have a day of intense exercise because someone in 328 yawned during briefing. also that he failed his first prt, but I'm sure he will be fine, he's made huge progress over the past 7 months of dep. Keep your phones handy today!

I got a call yesterday too! It was so good to hear his voice- I started crying as soon as my daughter picked up the phone and I heard her say "Alex?????"
He had been trying to call my phone and for some reason it was not connecting when I picked it up.... I was getting frustrated and worried I would miss his call! But he could hear me even though I could not hear him and he heard me give him his sisters phone number... I am so glad he got through on her line.
He seems tired and he says it got very real and his heart dropped when they handed him his dog tags and uniform, but he is okay. He says it is hard, and it "sucks" but it is supposed to..its basic training... I had to laugh when he said that. He seems okay with it.
The best news is that- my son has had Alopecia areata since he was in third grade, it is total hair loss caused by a gene or auto-immune reaction... and since he has been at great lakes, his hair has begun to grow back very thick and lush. It is like a miracle. It is making him very happy. He says he is making lots of friends and is settling in even though it is very hard and he is very tired every day. Made me feel very good to talk to him.

My son was sick too. He said fever of 101 and bedrest for 24 hours. Said they had to disinfect everything.

I got a call from my son. Ship 03, Div 328. He sounded more upbeat that I expected, said he missed us, but was too busy to actually be homesick. He said he should be able to write tomorrow.

Hi my son is also on that ship, 03 327/328. I have received the box of clothes, all of them inside out, lol, and the cell phone he was sure he could keep.no real letter just a form one about graduation and such. No phone call either, on arrival he called the girlfriend, that was okay but I would really like to hear his voice.
