For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security
Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.
DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

**UPDATE 4/26/2022** Effective with the May 6, 2022 PIR 4 guests will be allowed. Still must be fully vaccinated to attend.
**UPDATE as of 11/10/2022 PIR vaccination is no longer required.
**UPDATE 7/29/2021** You now must be fully vaccinated in order to attend PIR:
In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

Welcome to the Division Discussion for Divisions 337 and 338
These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.
Get to know each other, your SRs are!
Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.

Hello everyone. My sailor is Evan and we are from PA . I am flying in with my brother and his family. My brother booked through Hotwire and we are staying at the Westin. Can't wait to see my boy or guess I should say young man! Hope to meet you all at graduation!

Meg, I don't know which Westin Hotel you are staying in, but if it is one of the two in Chicago it will take you at least an hour to drive to Waukegan if not closer to an hour and a half or more. Just be aware of the travel time.

My brother booked it....kind of at his mercy since he and his family were kind enough to come with me. My son is not close to my husband. My brother and his family have always been there for him. He said he checked it out and it is about 1/2 hour. I would of been much closer. But from what I have heard...Chicago is only a 30 mins away. Supposedly it is north of Chicago.

Hi Lynn, I guessvthey want their focus since things are more intense with traing by nowg. My son told me last Saturday that he might have his wisdom teeth extracted this week...what timing. Wish they would have done during the first two weeks.

My son wrote me and I got the letter this week. They pulled out 2 of his wisdom teeth....I was shocked. He never complained about them. I wrote and asked him if they were impacted. He said his mouth was pretty sore. Hope your son if he has them out will heal quickly!
