Looking for family with sailors in this division.  Have received 2 letters with different street addresses - one Ohio and one Illinois.  Anyone having similar issues?

Yes, that would be awesome and so helpful!  I assume it includes Pre-BUD's?

Sorry its just BUDs, I dont know when your boys will be leaving from Pre buds. If they are part of Class 29 4 then it may be sooner, since that class has already started. But if you are the beginning of class 29 5 it could be about 10 weeks. Your loved one will be able to tell you when he finds out. haha you may know more than him by then. I knew my sons class # before he told me, he asked me how I knew and I just said N4M's. He also told me they arent suppose to tell us anything about Battlestations, but we know that too. That will be your next phone call. I hope this is moving quickly for you.

During times when it is rough for the boys, like battlestations we light a blue candle for them on the other groups. Its like family, eash class cares about the other. Blue candles are used for testing, movement, and most of all HellWeek. So if you dont have one, this is one road that it is very much needed. I will keep you posted on the other groups hard times and we will keep your guys on ours.

I would yes please!

Tressa,

Did you get the scarf color?  Sky Blue.....so our Sailors can spot us.  CAN'T WAIT!!!

Yes I did! I'm hoping @MamaBear can help me make mine! She is my future mother in law!

Hi Tressa!  I am ready to go shopping for my scarf, glad we went with the sky blue.  Have you heard from your SR?  Hope he was able to call.  We are half way through!!!  On the downward slope now.

Hey! Glad you are on here! No call =/ But I got another letter today! So excited to be halfway done!

Of course I plan on making you a scarf!  Alex too (and anyone else who plans to come for our boys big day!)  It's basically just cutting a long scarf shape from the fleece...

I would like this info please

Hello...I am a mom whose son has just about completed this journey.  He PIR'd last April.  Sjtina has asked me to join you and jump in with any info I can share...

In reference to a comment about reward phone calls...My son's 806 division won everything there was to win, and never got a reward call.  They just seem to expect the best from the 800's, and usually these divisions only get the 3 scheduled calls.

How long do they stay in GL for pre-buds before moving to San Diego?  I have heard anywhere from 2 months to 5 months!  That is a big difference when I am anxiously waiting to move out there with him.

My SR and his friend who recently just graduated and is now in BUD/S Prep said that they are there atleast 6 weeks and if they need more training it could be another 1-6 weeks. So the most he would be out there for prep is 12 weeks. When they go to San Diego BUD/S is 6 months.
