Happy for you guys, I hope mine calls too. Seems our division gets to call tonight.
I've read where other families have done this...I think it is a great idea!

I was thinking about knitting myself a red, white and blue scarf to wear.

Has anyone recd a letter today?
I did... Also got another call from him tonight. His grandmother passed away after he left. We told him yesterday...maybe we shouldn't have. He was so upset, their RDC let him call me tonight. Loved hearing from him...but upset that he's so upset. Anyone have any advice?

Moe, So sorry for your loss!

I got a letter today, 2 whole pages!!  I had to cry......

Send lots of letters, he said it's like Christmas when they hear their name called.

Yes...that is what I am trying to do. I'm so grateful that their RDC let him call me again....but at the same time worried this will impair his performance. I told him to work hard and make his grandma proud!
Sorry Moe,,, That would have been a tough choice for me too... Im sure the guys are rallying around him. Thats how this special group has to be to survive in the future.
Thank you! I hope he does rely on his team. He said they are becoming close! Also, he told me yesterday was day 3-1. They all got second haircuts.

Gramma has a much better view now to watch over him!
