Hi, did you get your form letter?

I am a mom who helps moms start the PIR groups. Would you be interested in starting it. I can send you the "duties" (not hard really! LOL) and you could look it over first and decide. If it's not for you...no worries!

Friend me and let me know or reply here!

Yes, I did get the form letter a few days ago. Really surprised that I got it so soon.

Send me the info and I will look it over.

I'm not sure how to friend someone on this site. I'm still learning how to navigate. I'm new to this website.

grnrangler   to friend FTLW point your mouse at her name or icon and then you'll be taken to her page. Under her icon on her page will be Add As Friend...click on that and you can leave her a message and send the friend request. Then you need to watch up in the upper right hand corner in your Inbox...watch for mesages from her.

grnrangler94 - Friending you.

Go to the Far right hand column on this page.

At the top of the column you will see a dark blue bar with your username in it.

Just underneath is a list:

Friends - If you have a friend request it looks like the above.

When you don't have any requests it says "Invite"

Click on the (1 request) it will take you to another page. Click "Accept".

Once you've done that I can send you the info.

I think I just added you, not sure. Let me know.

Hello grnrangler94.  I have been trying to find someone in my son's division.  My son is in ship 04 division 809.  His pir date is 3/16 though.  People are telling me he must be mistaken. I will call his recruiter mon to verify.  I would love to meet someone in his didvision.

Hello Sara.

My son left 1/25/12. His form letter said his grad date is 3/30/12. Maybe they are in the same sship. Let me know.

Good Morning!

I have sent you the message with the Group Creator Duties. It is in your Inbox here on N4M's.

Refer to my post above and nest to "Inbox" it should say "(1 new)".

Then just reply back and let me know if you would like to do it! I'll then send you step-by-step instructions.

Thanks!

I think you mean the Divisional Discussion on your PIR group. No, we're talking about starting the next PIR group.

No "duties" on the discussions...except to have a great time meeting other members and be mindful of OPSEC.

Hello Everyone!

I am in the process of starting the 03/30/2012 PIR group.

If this has been something you have been thinking about I am asking you to hold off so we don't have duplicate groups. I have a mom as of right now  but will still take a friend request (I'll ALWAYS look at those anytime!) with a private message from anyone interested and just put you in line in case hers is a later date!

Please be patient ladies...stay on here and keep reporting in with your Ship/DIV numbers and PIR dates! Thank you for your help!

FTLW

I do My son is ship4 div 809

He  also has PIR on 3/30/12, he started boot camp on 1/31/12,

so unless my son gets held back they will be graduating together.

Awesome to know there are others in the same division! Maybe they will meet.

Hello Omama and grnrangler94. I too have a son in this ship/division. His PIR is 3/30 as well.  At first there was some miscommunication in this division. I was originally sent the form letter with a PIR 3/16.  After some discussions from some veteran moms on N4M they alerted me this may not be correct.  I contacted someone who sure enough said there was an error made early on and they had to resend several form corrections. It was that day that I received his corrected form letter. I am very glad to hear that as PIR 3/16 was way too large and would have been miserable. Even though it is 2 weeks longer. I think it will be better in the long run. So glad to finally find someone in this ship/div. My son left on 1/26/12.  So far I have only received the two form letters with short notes on the back. Nothing yet about anything about how he is doing or how it has been so far.
